Removing component packages

About this task

Use this procedure to remove one or more component packages from the firmware repository.

Procedure

Access the UI using a web browser.
In the left navigation pane, select Firmware.
Click the Component Packages tab.
Locate the component package that you want to remove.
Click Remove for the component package.
In the Remove component package window, click Remove.

CAUTION
Removing a component package deletes it from the repository. Ensure that the component package is not required for future firmware operations before you remove it.

Results

The selected component package is removed from the firmware repository and will no longer appear on the Component Packages tab. You can monitor the removal status in the Activity window.
