Switching between legacy SUM and next-generation SUM from SPP
About this task
Use this procedure to switch between legacy SUM (12.x) and next-generation SUM (20.x) from the mounted SPP. Use the launch_sum.sh for Linux or launch_sum.bat for Windows script to switch between SUM and next-generation SUM.
Legacy SUM and next-generation SUM maintain separate application data repository, including server inventories and firmware baseline repositories. Servers and firmware baselines added, created, or imported in one application are not available in the other.
Switching between these two applications does not migrate, synchronize, or share configuration data. Any changes made in one application are not reflected in the other.
