Local database

Smart Update Manager (SUM) uses a local SQLite database to store application state and operational data, including:

Server records
Firmware baseline records
Job records
Activity records
Inventory information
Encrypted iLO credential data

The database location is defined in the user.yaml file:

  backup_path: "data/backups"
  max_backup_count: 10

If the database path is relative, SUM resolves it from the installation root directory.
