Handling browser security certificates

When you launch Smart Update Manager (SUM) in UI mode, the browser might display a security warning indicating that https://localhost:63002 presents a potential security risk. The message varies by web browser.

This warning occurs because the browser does not automatically trust the security certificate used by SUM. Once the certificate is trusted, the warning is no longer displayed when accessing the web interface.

To continue, do one of the following:

Continue to the web interface despite the security warning.
Import and trust the Hewlett Packard Enterprise security certificate in the web browser.
