Localhost onboarding skipped

Symptom

Smart Update Manager (SUM) skips localhost onboarding when the localhost system does not meet the requirements for automatic onboarding. SUM displays an activity message indicating either of the following conditions.

Solution 1

Cause

No supported iLO is detected on the localhost system.

Action

No action is available. Localhost onboarding requires a supported iLO.

Solution 2

Cause

An external management application is managing the localhost system.

Action

No action is available. Localhost onboarding is not supported for externally managed systems.
